Healing Nurse-to-Nurse Hostility
Kathleen Bartholomew

The expression "Nurses eat their young" is so far removed from our idea of the caring and nurturing nurse that we shudder to think it could possibly be true. But the truth is, nurses are hurting each other. Stories from the 'front line' cannot be ignored. These stories are the voices of nurses telling the world about their experiences. The first step to healing our relationships is the most difficult: to recognize and openly discuss the problem. Only by understanding the origin and reasons for our behaviors can we even begin to create the healing environment that is so desperately needed in nursing - for ourselves, as well as our patients.

But I’ve Never Climbed Everest!?
Setting Aside Small Thinking to Find the Leader within YOU

Michelle Cederberg

Success is a personal journey that shouldn’t be measured against the accomplishments of others. You are meant to be whatever you dream of becoming regardless of what those around you might think, or the barriers that you have put up for yourself.  In this surprisingly funny, wake-up-call session Michelle shares her ordinary success story to shed light on why we put up barriers to getting to where we really want to be.  She defines ‘the small thinker’ using humorous personal examples, and then helps you mine your skills and passions to Find Your Own Everest and strengthen the Leader within YOU.

Do it Well.  Make It Fun ®
Ron Culberson

Based on Ron’s book by the same name (to be released in the spring of 2012), this hilarious presentation shows healthcare staff that quality care requires both excellence and fun. He teaches healthcare managers how to create an environment in which staff want to work. And ultimately, he helps staff and managers understand that excellence combined with fun and humor leads to better patient care.  Topics include success through self-improvement, improving relationships with others, and making the processes in life and work more effective.
