President's Message

"Were there any great leaders born in this town?" asked the politician. “No… I don’t recall any, just babies!” said the elderly gentleman. It’s one of those myths about leadership. Leaders were born babies like everyone else. Someone told them, encouraged them and pointed the way for them to become leaders.

This year our theme is “Creating the leader within!” What is leadership? What makes a good leader? Can I really be a leader?

All good questions, so where do we begin? Attending Spring Conference in 2012 at the Edmonton Marriott at River Cree Resort will answer some of these questions, and will reinforce that each of us has a leader within.

We are going to learn from and laugh with quality speakers and grow professionally and personally. Want to be encouraged and see where other LPNs are going and leading? There is always something for everyone!
